Decided to watch “Westworld” once more. Why is it so fascinating? All these robots, dialogs between them and “real” people, the nature of the society represented in the series—perhaps, it’s useless to break down the wholeness of my impression in an attempt to figure out what exactly makes me enjoy it.

While I was looking for quotes for the upcoming speaking club, I discovered an interesting article. It’s called “On bullshit”. The author proposes to put all information into three categories: “truth”, “lie” and “bullshit”. Although the article is written by an academic philosopher, I couldn’t help reading it as a sort of self-irony, anticipating that in the end the author will proclaim that everything he’s said is also bullshit. My expectations have not been confirmed.

I forgot to mention that I finished reading «Âíóòðè è âíå ïîìîéíîãî âåäðà». The book, as a whole, was not as amusing as it seemed in the beginning, so in the end I was disappointed. This old liar couldn’t handle a long cheerful improvisation. After a hundred pages, he became totally unnatural and pretentious. I liked his style, by the way, but it certainly shouldn’t have been extended at such a length. It’s like, “Yeah, I’m making bullshit! It’s okay. I know it. If you don’t like it, go and find something better to do instead of looking at it. I don’t care about you!” Man, self-analysis has gone far beyond personality. Wake up! We no longer do personal psychotherapy; nor do we practice group psychotherapy. It’s all about cultural psychotherapy now.
